It's been a dreary, rainy few days, but the sun is shining today, and I wanted to create a trend moodboard full of colorful and vibrant patterns! This week's trend is the "ditsy" pattern. A ditsy is a small-scale scatter print (often featuring flowers) in which the repeat is not easy to find. These patterns are very feminine, have a somewhat vintage feel, and often blur together when viewed at a distance. I LOVE these patterns, and I tend to create ditsies a lot in my work. I especially love them when the motifs are condensed together with very little background space showing.
