Hey, y'all!

I've been loving abstract patterns lately, so I decided to try my hand at some. It's not always as easy as it looks; balance and cohesion within the pattern is extremely important. You always want your pattern to be pleasing to the eye! 

I started by painting tons of motifs with black acrylic. This was just a fun, playful experiment for me to see how I could morph these motifs into fun and exciting patterns. I also hand-letterd (hand-painted?) an alphabet so I could turn the letters into vectors and use in future projects.

These were such fun patterns to work on, and I plan on trying to implement abstract features into future designs.
