Fresh Picked

Hello and Happy Friday!

I'm still getting over this annoying cold that I've had for a week, but I've been busy this week, nonetheless, updating collections on my portfolio, revising older patterns, and finishing up a few collections that I left hanging. I'm going to be updating my portfolio more next week, after I start refining my favorite (and most popular) collections. It's hard to choose which collections I want to showcase on my site, but I don't want to overwhelm anyone who happens to check out my portfolio. It's just difficult because I have SO many different collections, patterns, and illustrations, and it's often hard to keep track of everything. So I've been working this week to refine them, organize everything on my external hard drive (in case the worst thing ever happens...my computer crashes?) and just getting all of my files in a place where I can easily find everything.

I'm going to be taking Module 3 of Make It In Design, where I'll learn more about licensing, selling, and other ways of monetizing my designs. I think I've got a grasp on how to design well-balanced pattern collections, so now it's time to learn how to make a career out of this!

Anyway...I'll share a collection that I finished up today. It's called "Fresh Picked," and I had created a couple of the patterns back in the summer. I'm going to be uploading these designs to Spoonflower soon, so they can be bought as fabric, wallpaper, and wrapping paper!
